Manna

NPC villager in the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons series. Depending on the game, her role changes dramatically in each iteration.

Character Name Manna
Gender
Birthday
First Appearance Harvest Moon 64
Aliases

Originally an extremely brief and minor character in the N64 version, her role was expanded in later iterations as the head of the town winery. In her first appearance, she is formal, but friendly. In later appearances, she is known as "chatty" and will let the protagonist in on the various going-ons with each character.

  • Harvest Moon 64 - Owner of a neighboring ranch that is selling three calves. Doug is the middleman for the sale but needs a place to house the calves in the meantime (his ranch is full), thus asks the protagonist to take care of them for 5 days. During the whole event, her young son will take a liking to the protagonist and hang out in the barn during the day. Manna is extremely grateful to the main character for both taking care of the cows and indulging her son's admiration.
  • Harvest Moon: Back to Nature - Co-owner of Aja Winery, Manna takes care of the books and sells wine and grape juice from the counter during business hours. Her personality is very chatty and her dialogue runs several pages should the main character speak to her. She often plays peacekeeper between her temperamental husband and her equally strong-willed daughter, who left for the city after feeling smothered. If the protagonist invites Cliff to the part-time grape harvesting gig in the first Fall, she will take Cliff under her wing for the rest of the game, offering him a full-time job. If befriended with Officer Harris, a mini romantic penpal side-story between their daughter and Harris can be explored.
  • Harvest Moon: Friends/More Friends of Mineral Town - Same role as "Back to Nature." Added is an extra character trait of being bad at baking, thus her and the Protagonist will take baking lessons with Anna on Saturdays.
  • Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town - Same role as "Friends/More Friends of Mineral Town."
