Overview

Naruto: Ninja Destiny (or Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden in Japan) is a one-on-one fighting game released for the Nintendo DS. It is the first in the Naruto: Ninja Destiny series and the first Naruto fighting game on a Nintendo handheld.

Version differences

  • Orochimaru, Tsunade and Jiraiya were not playable in the Japanese version.
  • Sasuke wears his default clothes in the Japanese version, while here, he wears the ones from the end of the Chūnin Exams arc.
  • The Naruto Barrage special was not avalible in the Japanese version
  • The cel-shading in the 3D models is not avalible in the Japanese version,
  • The touch screen was only used for the items in the Japanese release, while in the overseas it can also be used to select menus and advance cutscenes.
